Finally, the holy and most awaited Chardham yatra begins on Akshaya Tirtya. With the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, devout pilgrims embark on a spiritual sojourn, seeking solace, divine blessings, and a deep connection with the deities and nature. This holy pilgrimage stands as a testament to the rich cultural and religious heritage of India, drawing people from all walks of life to partake in this sacred journey of faith.  Uttarakhand's revered Char Dham Yatra embarks each year on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, marking the beginning of a spiritual pilgrimage to the sacred sites of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. This annual pilgrimage holds immense significance for devout Hindus, who seek spiritual solace and blessings during this sacred journey. 

Also, the pilgrims need to register themselves beforehand to cooperate with administration work. And especially, the government is especially making efforts for pilgrim's health checkups. After every kilometer, there is a relief camp as 130 doctors have been deployed. The Uttarakhand government, in collaboration with various agencies, ensures the smooth conduct of the Char Dham Yatra, including the provision of proper accommodation, medical facilities, and security arrangements.
