Such shocking news for humanity. Are people becoming like beasts, with so much cruelty in their hearts?  Mules are given weed to numb their senses to make them work harder and longer. It has become a raging issue on whole social media. Even a video was posted on Instagram, which showed the true reality of how innocent animals are being treated with cruelty. It clearly shows how inhuman people have become. Mules were terrified as they were forced to inhale cigarettes stuffed with weed by their noses. The owner itself closes the mouth of the mule and it is forced to breathe the smoke. 

Uttrakhand police have taken steps and arrested the owners under the Prevention of Cruelty to animals act and IPC section. The In-charge of Sonprayg police station examined the viral video and found out the location of the incident. It was near Tharu camp, enroute Char Dham Yatra. The viral videos were reshared by many celebrity figures as well asking for help for innocent beings. And also urging the unfit or unhealthy pilgrims to take proper permission from authorities for mules to be used.
