Mock Drill Stimulated For The Safety And Precautionary Measures

Uttrakhand disaster management authority has started the mock drill to avoid the disaster. Mock joint drill tests were conducted in seven districts of the Gharwal region. It was to check the preparedness level of state agencies. It was conducted with the support of the National disaster management authority.  The mock drill was done of Char Dham Yatra Way in Dehradun, Tehri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Uttarkashi, Pauri, Gharwal and Haridwar districts. The main target to conduct this mock drill test was to prepare the agencies for emergency situations.  The state government is taking multiple steps to ensure the safety of pilgrims. Especially, new technological advancements were seen too.

 

 Such as the installation of the Incidence response system. The keywords with alarm were activated in the control room. Such as the “earthquake” at Barkot in the Uttrakashi region, “Bus accident” in the Nalupani region, “the earthquake” in the Chamoli region, “ landslide” at Narendrnagar, and so on. All these efforts are put together to avoid the disaster. And also regulate the correct use of coordination and communication tools. The national disaster management authorities confirmed that by using the latest technologies we can get real-time updates.
