Badrinath highway near Chhinka was blocked due to heavy boulders falling off. Badrinath, a popular pilgrimage site located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India, has been hit by severe landslides and boulder falls, resulting in the blockage of key roads. The situation and posing significant challenges to the movement of pilgrims and tourists. Large boulders and debris have rolled down the slopes, obstructing the pathways and making them impassable. This situation has disrupted the normal flow of traffic, including the movement of pilgrims, tourists, and locals. It has also led to the closure of Bardnath national highway NH-7. the water level has risen in the Khachdu drain near lambagad in Uttarakhand. Even pilgrims spent their nights inside their vehicles.
