<p><strong>Noida Company Duped of INR 1.90 Crores</strong><br>Company in Noida fell victim to a scam, lost Rs 1.90 crore to a Dehradun-based airline company while trying to book a helicopter for the Char Dham Yatra. The fraud allegations were made by three directors of Chandralekha Airlines, which is based in Dehradun which issued multiple refund checks which was later returned with forged documents. Noida Company is valued at Rs 1.90 crore. A complaint has been registered against them at the Cantt police station by Shubhdeep Sadhu, the owner of Noida-based Mac Charters Private Limited.</p><p><br><strong>Promised Helicopters Never Delivered</strong><br>Shubhdeep Sadhu’s Mac Charters Private Limited, which operates chartered helicopter flights, was contacted by Abhay Kumar, Dhirendra Kumar, and Chandralekha Singh from Chandralekha Airlines. They promised to provide six helicopters, including AgustaWestland models, for the Char Dham Yatra. Sadhu transferred INR 1.90 crores to Chandralekha Airlines, expecting the helicopters to be delivered in two batches—between May 15, 2024, and June 30, 2024, and again from September 15, 2024, to October 28, 2024. As the dates approached, Chandralekha Airlines did not fulfill their commitment despite repeated requests.</p><p><br><strong>Discovery of Fraudulent Documents</strong><br>As the helicopters were not delivered, Sadhu had Chandralekha Airlines documents scrutinized, revealing they were fraudulent, and the claims about their helicopters were false. The three directors of Chandralekha Airlines not only failed to keep their promises but they also issued several refund checks all of which were returned. Such fraudulent activities cause significant financial losses and damage the reputation of Mac Charters Private Limited.</p><p><br><strong>Legal Action Taken</strong><br>Based on the sadhus complaint, the Cantt police delegation registered a case against Abhay Kumar, Dhirendra Kumar and Chandralekha Singh under various sections of IPC including 420, 467, 468, 471 and 506. SHO Cantt Kailash Chandra<strong> </strong>Bhattconfirmed that investigations are ongoing to bring the perpetrators to justice and recover the defrauded funds.</p>
