Heavy rains caused devastation, high mountains are falling apart | High Alert in Uttarakhand

Continuous rains claim 6 lives in Uttarakhand. Due to the water crossing the danger zones, a red alert has been sounded. The chief minister specially requested the pilgrims to cooperate by not going out to any unnecessary movements. Over the past few days, incessant rainfall has battered the state, saturating the soil and destabilizing the mountains. As a consequence, several regions in Uttarakhand have witnessed catastrophic landslides. The region is grappling with a natural disaster of alarming proportions, resulting in loss of lives, displacement of communities, and extensive damage to infrastructure. 

Environmental experts and geologists are closely monitoring the situation to understand the underlying causes of these devastating events and develop strategies to mitigate future risks. It is well-known that Uttarakhand is a geologically fragile area, susceptible to landslides and other natural calamities, but the current severity of the disaster has surpassed previous incidents. Many roads are blocked due to landslides and pilgrims of char dham are stranded. The state disaster response force head said, 5 people were saved with the help of divers. And 3 bodies were recovered.  The actual incident location is Malkunti Bridge and hotel anand kashi. The government authorities are urging the pilgrims of the char dham yatra to remain cautious and vigilant.
