This year the number has increased in pilgrims. The Char Dham Yatra continues to attract a significant number of devotees and tourists from around the world. Char Dham because of its spiritual significance and breathtaking natural beauty, has become a popular pilgrimage destination. Also, surprisingly in  2023, the Char Dham Yatra witnesses an overwhelmingly large number of tourists over 10,000 tourists. Pilgrims and travelers from various parts of India and abroad embark on this holy journey to seek blessings and immerse themselves in the divine atmosphere of the four sacred shrines.

Thousands of people have started to throng the temple since it opened. More than 5000 people are visiting Yamunotri every day and 10,000 in Chardham Daily. Because of the large number of tourists visiting the Char Dham From Delhi, it has led to a positive impact on the local economy. It helped in generating employment opportunities for the local population through tourism-related services such as transportation, accommodations, restaurants, and handicrafts. This influx of visitors contributes to the growth and development of the region. 

The government has been making efforts to implement effective crowd-management strategies.   For the pilgrim's safety and comfortable movement along the pilgrimage route.
