Due To Elections, The Cities of Uttarakhand Will Have Some Barrier Points

Due to the assembly elections, the traffic police have generated a traffic plan for the city starting from 5th September until 8th September. This traffic plan ensures the smooth flow of vehicular movement and the safety of both residents and visitors during this period. Several roads will be closed for the smooth functioning of elections. Roads that will be closed are Char Dham Yatra places, Pragati Vihar, Dudli Road, and Kargi Chowk. And heavy vehicles will be stopped at Lalatppad, Harrawala. These are points, Local traffic police have identified alternative routes to help commuters bypass the closed roads. Signage and police personnel will be deployed at strategic points to guide drivers and ensure a seamless flow of traffic. Also, there will be certain restrictions. Parking restrictions will be in place around the Assembly session area. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or designated parking lots to minimize congestion in the vicinity. Local authorities are requesting the public to cooperate with the traffic and security measures in place during the Assembly session. The authorities have advised residents and commuters to plan their routes ahead of time, consider alternative transportation options, and remain patient and vigilant while navigating the temporary changes in traffic patterns.
