Rain Sources Yamuna Level To Float Near The Danger Stain 

Due to incessant rain, there is quite high amount of increased water level. It has reached to above the danger level 205.35 m. The increased inflow of water from the heavy monsoon rains has resulted in the river's levels steadily rising, prompting authorities to closely monitor the situation and take necessary precautions. The government has evacuated 27,389 people form the low lying flood affected areas. 13,786 people are living in temporary 39 camps, community centres, schools. Majority of the evacuaqtion is done in yamuna flood plains in east and north east delhi. Traffic disruptions and transportation issues have also arisen due to flooded roads and underpasses. Authorities have advised citizens to avoid unnecessary travel and take precautions to stay safe during this challenging period. 

Many areas including kashmere gate, civil lines, majnu ka tila, badarpur was flushed by flood waters. Efforts are being made to clear waterlogged areas and restore normalcy as swiftly as possible. However, the situation serves as a reminder of the need for comprehensive urban planning, effective drainage systems, and disaster preparedness to mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall and flooding in densely populated areas like Delhi.
